Want to Become a Service-Learner? Service learning provides KSSL students with an opportunity to positively impact the community. Students are challenged to become change agents while honing their critical-thinking abilities, knowledge, and beliefs in order to prepare for future leadership roles. These challenges range from intergenerational initiatives and community activities to sustainability enterprises. |
Join Our Team!
KSSL offers many on-campus Federal Work Study (FWS) positions where students can earn as they learn. We also provide additional service-learning opportunities for KCC students. Through service learning, we can help students gain a deeper understanding of course content and the power of sustainability! Federal work-study is a financial aid program that helps students pay for college by providing part-time jobs that may be related to their area of study. |
