All reflection essays should be 1000 words or more in length, related to your required course of study, and include at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) or Global Goals. Please make sure that your essay includes the following identification block at the top of the paper:

Submit your completed KSSL Timesheet/Supervisor Evaluation pdf form along with your final Reflection Essay in Word.doc format (pdfs will not be accepted) by the deadline. See the rubric guidelines for more details. Submit all documents to [email protected].

- Submissions must be made directly to KSSL to receive credit for participation
- If a form is incomplete and or illegible, it will be returned with a request for corrections
- PDF forms can be completed using a PDF form filler. i.e, DocHub, Adobe
- At the end of the program, any incomplete forms or failure to meet and complete all requirements will be counted as an INCOMPLETE, and your instructor(s) will be notified.
- If you are experiencing unforeseen difficulties in fulfilling your requirements, please contact us immediately. DO NOT wait until the last moment to notify us. We are here to help! :)
Important Dates and Reminders of KSSL Requirements to be Completed in Order:
- Attend an Orientation (mandatory) from Wednesday, January 21 to February 20, 2026
- Submit Registration and Waiver/Release (due by 02/27/26)
- Complete 20 service hours or more
- Submit Timesheet/supervisor evaluation (due by 04/24/26)
- Submit a Reflection essay (due by 04/24/26)
